Frequently asked questions
- Does it cost anything to use the website and Story Creator?
Answer: No. You will need to Register your school first.
- How long will it take for my school registration to be reviewed and activated?
Answer: Your details will be sent to an administrator who will verify your submission before making the school live. To help us please either use a valid school email address or enter your school telephone number. The verification processs could take up to 5 days
- I've forgotten my password for the teachers' area. Can I reset it?
Answer: Yes. Go to the Teachers' login form, and click on the link "If you have forgotten your password please click here". You will be sent an email to the school's registered email address, with instructions on how to reset it.
- I can't see my school on the Story Creator stories page
Answer: Your school will only appear in the dropdown list once you have published at least one story.
- I can't see my pupils' stories in the teachers' admin area
Answer: Stories need to be saved, and then submitted from within the Story Creator before they are available for review and publication from the teachers' area
- I've submitted my story and now I can't see it in the Story Creator
Answer: Once submitted, you cannot change your story until it has been reviewed by your teacher, or by an E2BN administrator
- How long will it take for my story to appear on the website?
Answer: If your teacher logs into the teachers' area, they can review and publish it quickly. If your teacher doesn't do this in 10 days, or your not part of a school, an E2BN administrator will need to review and publish it. We try to do this as quickly as possible, but due to the number of stories submitted, this can take up to 3 weeks.
