The Woman of The Isle - origins

Four boys have witnessed a woman dressed in black, wearing a hand and have confirmed that she had dark a strangely dark coloured hand which was all the feature of her body they could see. She stood for moments then vanished. Locals believe she was the same of that woman who was executed for the crime of killing her child. However, we don't know WHY she did. It is also witnessed a boy sleeping with a sword beside him.
