The Lantern Man and the Wherryman

The lantern men were believed to be shadowy spirits, who used their light to lure travellers from the pathways into the marshes, to drown. This is the story of Joseph Bexfield and his encounter with the lantern men.

This story has some definate connections to the Irish myth of Jack-O'-Lantern. Its an interesting story. I'm sure you can find it on the web. Just look around. It would be a cool addition to this website.
