Don't judge someone

A myth submitted to the site by Krystel Eastman

Hull, United Kingdom

I was the only one that believed her… My only friend…She had been accused of stealing the headmaster’s prized possession. His best piece of art. We both knew she didn’t do it. We were down at the beach when it happened but everyone thought it was her. There was nothing we could do.

Everyone hated her now and planned to execute her that night. I didn’t know what to do! I couldn’t console her. She wouldn’t eat either. She just looked out the window planning her life in heaven ahead. I tried and tried to make things right, I know I could die too because of it – but she said I must stay on earth. So while she’s in heaven I could still try and tell people it wasn’t her.

It never worked though. She got executed in a massive field and legend has it that when someone who didn’t believe her walks near or on the field they disappear… One. By. One. She makes them go through the pain she had to go through, the death she had to go through… Until – then everyone believed us! But it was too late by then. People asked me to ask her to stop doing it but I said NO. The legend will be passed onto someone else soon. If you don’t tell someone who knows? It could be YOU… So just remember to don’t judge a book by its cover. Don’t judge Maggie Lawson because of what she did before she was accused. Because then YOU will suffer the concequences…

its ok but when your writing a story you need to decide whether to use past or presant tense. i only say this because at the start of the story i was very confused to which one it was. very, very good though. lived it. xxx
