The Lost Women

A myth submitted to the site by Yasmin

In a forest, Lough Key forest park Boyle Co.Roscommon Ireland, Ireland

Do you ever want to Know why the wind blows,do you think it's just Mother Nature your WRONG! An old women lived in a damp old shed in the middle of a dark dense forest in 18 ad.

The women was very Hot headed and Neurotic so she never had many friends. As well as being clumsy and a coward she had commitment issues. You could call her a loner but she was really just a bit insane. She had over 40 cats and loved to drown them in the lake to show her misery, but a year later John Mc Grane a highy trained soldier came walking by the lake and saw the old cottage. As a friendly person he went to say "Hello". But the women didn't like "Hello"s so she grapped her axe and chopped off his legs and arms before drowning him. After that she walked off to the top of the cliff near the lake to catch her breath.

It was a very high cliff as she caught hold of her long blound hair she said "is this how i want to be? do i want to drown every handsome solider that calls to my door." With one last glance back at her house she walked to the edge of the cliff and raised her arms. A slight wind brushed across her face as she fell of the edge making a loud whistling noise so every time you hear the wind whistling it is the old women whistling at the bottom of the cliff!
The End.
