Greg the Man

A myth submitted to the site by Eric Gulich

Buenos Ares, Argentina

There once lived a very strong man, named Greg. He was a demigod, half man and half god. He was the son of Ares, the Greek god of war. Greg had an older brother named Charlie. Everyone thought he was better than Greg, since he killed a fifteen foot monster. Greg really wanted to prove that he was better than Charlie. How was he going to prove it?

Greg had an idea. He went to his mother, and said, “Mom, I am going to kill a twenty foot monster.”
“No honey, don’t go. Your brother almost got killed. What would happen if you got killed,” his mother replied.
“Mom, I am not asking you, I am telling you,” He retorted.
She said, “Fine, but let me give you a kiss first.” She walked over to him and kissed him. “Good luck, and don’t get yourself killed.”

Greg was looking for forty days and thirty nine nights, but he couldn’t find a twenty foot monster.

Finally, Greg found one above a mountain. Greg started climbing very quietly, so the monster wouldn’t hear him.

When Greg reached the top of the mountain he went right under the monster, so the monster wouldn’t see him. Then he took out his sword and cut the monster’s feet off.

“Waaaaaaaaaah,” screamed the monster as he was falling down, “What has just happened.”

Before the monster could see Greg, Greg chopped the monster’s head off.
“Victory!” he screamed.

To show that he killed a twenty foot monster, Greg took the monster’s head home.
When he got home, everyone was cheering for him, even Charlie.

“I am so proud of you honey!” said his mother, while crying with happiness.
