How Trees Came To Be

A myth submitted to the site by Dovi S

Treeville, UST

Did you ever wonder how trees came into existence? Well here is the story of how they came to be. One day in a land far away there was a village that was cluttered and ugly.

Living in that village was a boy with his mother. The boy’s name was Joe and he loved to go on adventures. One night just like any other regular night Joe went to sleep. That night he had a dream. He heard a voice that said “Go exploring you will meet a man who will help you make your village beautiful.” Joe told his mother what he heard and she told him to go find the man.

So, Joe set out on a long journey. After three hours of walking with his heavy knapsack on his back he saw a man. Joe quickly ran to the man and said “Are you him?” “The one who will help me make my village beautiful?” The man took two seeds out of his pocket and said “Plant these in the ground.” And then disappeared.

Joe ran home as fast as he could and planted the seeds. Right then two huge beautiful trees popped out of the ground. Then, seeds fell of the trees and new trees popped up that kept happening and soon enough the village was filled with trees. And that is the story of how trees came to be.
