The Nine Year Old Miracle

A myth submitted to the site by Daniel

A Park

One day, a nine year old kid named Josh went to the park to play basketball. Josh didn’t really have any friends, so he played by himself. There were other people on the court, so Josh took the other side since the other people weren’t using it. Josh noticed that is wasn’t fun playing by himself, and that he didn’t want to, so he went to the other people and asked if he could play with them.

“No way, you’re so small, and probrobly very bad too and there is no way a tiny kid like you, could play with us, eighteen year olds,” said one of the teenagers.
“I’m a lot better than you think. Watch. Hand me a ball,” Josh said. Josh took the ball, dribbled it to the half court line, took the shot, and swished it.
“I did not just see what I think I just saw, did I?” asked another teenager.
“Oh yes you did. I’ll do it again to prove it,” Josh said. Josh took the ball to the half court line again, took the shot, and the ball swished again!!
“Wow, this is a nine year old miracle. We need one more player for a 5 on 5 and this kid is insane. Let him play,” said another teenager.
“Fine he could play.”

So Josh now played with the teenagers every time he went to the park. The teenagers learned a big lesson which is “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.”
