The Magic Bush
In a deep forest there lived a snake that was made fun of for his ugly skin. Every day and night he felt great grief. When the other snakes had shed their skin they had skin even better than their old skin but he had the same skin.
One day when he was slithering alone along the riverbank he came across a bush with one gold berry. Suddenly an old woman appeared and said who ever ate this berry will be granted one wish. The snake ate it with delight and wished he had the most beautiful skin but nothing happened.
When he got home he washed up looked in the mirror and saw that he had the most beautiful skin. When he went outside to tell every body no one recognized him. Suddenly he felt more alone than ever. He had to wait three more years for another berry to bloom and he destroyed the plant so no own would make a bad wish.
When he got home every one was greeting him for they missed him so much. Know one made fun of him again. Unfortunately there was one seed that was left behind.
