Why the Acheron River created?
Long time ago when everything was happy and the cries were not heard very often, the sun came everyday up in the sky, the blue massive sky their live the Gods. The gods took care of people. But most of all, the gods got really well with the mortal world and that is very important. If the gods got mad they can bring fires, thunders and the crops won’t grow making all the villagers loose all of their hard work and making them starve. The mortal always sacrifice sheep or pigs to make the gods happy, and believe me when I say they are really happy about that.

The God of the gods is Zeus. Zeus is the god of the sky. Zeus had a big secret; he had fallen in love with a mortal, of course that was prohibited. The only person who knew his secret was his royal confident Hermes. Hermes was smart and a really good dealer, in fact Zeus makes him do all the deals like Persephone’s deal with Hades. Zeus was Strong and had a really short temper so it was not recommendable to make him furious.

One day Zeus and Sunamoon, the mortal had a baby whom they called Mar. Nobody knew about the baby except for Hermes.
Hermes was in charge to take care of Mar and Sunamoon, because there were bad people that already knew that Zeus had a baby girl named Mar and Zeus was scared they could hurt her or Sunamoon. One day Sunamoon was sleeping and she heard crying Mar.

Sunamoon felt that something really bad was going to happen. She entered the room and she saw a man with a black cloth. In his hands was Mar. Sunamoon begged for help and told him not to take her baby, but in her reply she heard
“Zeus knows what I want, just tell him he knows me “said the mysterious voice.
Sunamoon did not know what to do so she called Hermes to help her, he said she had to call Zeus, just as the voice told her to do. When Zeus arrived he said;
“Where is Mar!!!”
Sumaroon knew that when Zeus got mad he really got mad.
¨I, I ,I don’t know, she was here when I left her sleeping and when I came back she was missing!´´ said Sumaroon scared.
´´We should look for her through the Olympus and the mortal world´´ said Zeus angry.
Hours passed and they got a strange letter from a goblin saying that he had Mar and that he would give it back only if Zeus gave him his throne. When Zeus read the letter he was furious how could a goblin a little and insignificant creature threten him to give him his throne?
´´Impossible´´ he said.
´´Well then you´ll never see you daughter again.
Sumaroon pleaded Zeus to give the goblin his throne but Zeus denied her. He thought he could get his daughter back without risking his throne and his daughter he went with Hermes to look for him on the jungle they looks and looked until they heard a baby cry, the cry came from the mountains. Up on the greatest mountain he saw the goblin holding the baby Mar.
Zeus demanded the goblin to hold on to the baby, that he was going to clime the mountain to get him and save Mar. But the goblin threw the baby´s blanket and the baby crawled down the mountain.
´´NOOOOOOO!!! MAR!!!!!!´´ cried Zeus.
Hermes could not believe his eyes!! Zeus ran down the hill while Hermes was catching the gobblin. When Zeus arrived to the end of the hill baby Mar was not breathing. Then minutes past and all of the sky turned gray bringing thunder and lightning. That could only mean something; Mar was dead!
Zeus left to the mortal world and told Sumaroon what had happened Sumaroon collapsed and cried so hard that a river came out.

Now days it is called the Acheron river. Nobody knew more about Sumaroon but if you stay until midnight you might hear Sumaroon close to the river.
Mortals and gods were prohibiting talking to each other the relationship between mortals and gods is prohibit. T
