A long time ago in the clouds above New Zealand, when the world was fine and peaceful, there was a sky father and mother wanting to have a child .After much thought they found a name that would suite this child, Tane, the sky mother suggested.

When the babe was born a loud cry would scream across the world, the sky mother and father did not know what to do so they threw him away.

Every time Tane, the sky mother and father's child, remembers his parents he cries and makes parts of the world rain with his tears.
