Zika and the dragon.

Long ago, there was a time when fearsome beasts and terrifying gladiators fought to the death and Emperors watched them fight. A brave man went on the most dangerous quest ever, to save his village.

Zika was at the wood chopping down trees with his Grandpa when a Messenger from the Emperor came that said “The Emperor has chosen you to slay the blood thirsty dragon and bring back his eye.” Zika accepted the dangerous challenge to slay the dragon. The messenger stopped and looked at Zika and froze “You r, r,really want to …go on the quest?”

“Yes, I accept .” said Zika nervously. Then the messenger returned to the Emperor. So Zika got back to chopping trees. Four days later, he set off on the quest.

Once Zika was on his way to the dragons cave, he came through the valley of death. The journey took two weeks to get there. He finally got to the volcano, he knew he was close.

At last, Zika set off through the cave and smelt the smoke from the lava. He hid behind a rock but the dragon saw him and whipped Zika across his face and didn’t know what to do.

Then Zika remembered that he could ask Jupiter for help. So he asked for help. Jupiter gave him a magic shield that lit up .He blinded the dragon and took the dragon eye.

When Zika returned home and Jupiter made him a god and fell in love with Venus.
