The witch and the baby Dragon

A myth submitted to the site by Peter Mckenna

ICELAND, england

The windows where frozen over, outside the weather was terrible , the wind was blowing a gale and the snow was falling fast and think. The Witch looked out of the window wondering if she should brave the weather. A couple of days ago her baby dragon escaped ! She was wondering weather it had found somewhere to hide, somewhere possibly with a little shelter and some warmth.

The Witch went up the stairs to get wrapped up warm to go out side and find her baby dragon. She grabbed her coat and off she went.

In a cave the baby dragon was lovely and warm he was not a normal dragon he was a clever dragon, he had collected some wood and mad him self a fire ,all he had to do was breath his fire on the wood. Now the wood fire roars away and keeps him nice an warm.

The Witch was nearing the dragon she had been following the smoke that had been escaping the cave .She was getting very cold and tired she tried to blow the whistle , the dragon was trained to come when she blew it but it hardly made a sound . So she kept flying as fast as she could on her broom. She saw a fox and thought that was him but it was not.. She stopped and tried to blow the whistle again and it worked the dragon heard it and tried to fly to her but landed half way towards her,it could not fly that far as it was only young , so she jumped back on her broom and flew to him . She tucked him in her coat and zipped it up and they flew home..
The witch was very happy to have her baby home.
