Nike and the Battle of Dogo

A myth submitted to the site by Hanna

Antarctica peninsula, Antarctica

One gloomy day on the icy Antarctica peninsula, Nike paced out of a miniature igloo and bellowed “Today the horrible war ends because the gargantuan and powerful beast, Dogo, is approaching. I declare that Sparta wins”. Her voice boomed and echoed throughout the battlefield.
Nike had awoken the sleepy and dismal beast. It was coming but she had a plan, to slice off his atrocious toes, subsequently it could not walk. Nike had whispered to herself that any beast she came across, she would win the battle.

As the tiring battle continued through the unpredictable weather, there was no clear ruler. Dogo has lost the green tuft of hair that was coated in snow. It caught in the wind and floated in to the sky and made the clouds. Nike had only lost the tip of her glinting golden shoes which caught the night wind and made the twinkling stars you see at night.

Nobody won that battle that took place on the icy Antarctica peninsula. So when the clouds go grey and black in a storm, you should know that Dogo is angry. Nike could declare nobody the winner that day.
