The Couple On The Highway

A myth submitted to the site by JimBob

Washington, America

Elenna and Steve were a happy couple who were traveling down the highway at night to get to their caravan sight. All was going well until smoke rose from the bumPer of the car so they pulled over.

Steve got out and checked the fuse and saw that the oil had spilled and they could go no further. Steve went into the car and looked at the map, and the map showed that an emergency phonebox was nearby. He decided to go and look for it.

Elenna waited for Steve to come back but he never did, so she went to look for him. 3 minutes into searching Elenna saw the phone box she approached and shouted "Steve" x2 and shouted "Steve ive found it" x1. The next few seconds were silent then a blood-curdling scream broke the silence, Elenna ran to the scene immeadiatly and saw Steve hanging from his neck with blood covering his temple and body with an axe in his stomach. Elenna screamed for help whilst tears blinded her vision but her tears did not stop her seeing a ragged, beaten and bright pale figure covered also in blood who let out a few words "Forbidden, forgotten, and dead, which you will be" the ghost pulled out a gun and all went black.
