There was ounce a little girl her name was Gem. Her family was very wealthy and could give her anything in the world, except from a friend and that was all she wanted.They offerd her teddies, dolls, china tea sets and clothes but nothing was gonna make her happy.

She decided she would run away to her Gran in England so in the night she ran away. When she eventullay got there her Gran was not very pleased, she told her to go back home but Gem refused. Her Gran sent her out and joked "I will only let you back if you give me the rainbow diamond." Then her gran laughed the rainbow diamond did not excist. But Gem set out to find it.

It took her weeks, her parents were worried about her and so was her Gran she thought she would go back home but no she was looking for that diamond. She came across a jewel seller he did not have it, she came across a man who went mining for jewels he did not have it. Then she came across an old lady who said she had seen one of them before and a very rich couple had one.

Then she realised that her parents had it so she went to see them and realised that she would just stay with them because she loved them.
