The Tape

A myth submitted to the site by Darian

There once was a boy named Ian. He was different from other boys because no matter what, he always had tape on his nose. A girl named Alexa asked why, but he simply said, "I can't tell you." She gave it some thought and never took her mind off it for the rest of the day. Not even when she was about to review for her test.

Throughout the years, Ian and Alexa began to fall in love with one another. One day, They got married and Ian still had the tap on his nose. Alexa said, "Now that we're married, you simply must tell me why you always have tape on your nose." But he simply said, "I will tell you when the right time comes." They also got a dog that eats receipts, but that's a different story.

Forty or fifty years had gone by. Ian still had tape on his nose and he was dying of old age. He called Alexa into the room. He said, "It's time you knew why I always wear the tape. Remove it and you will see." With those words, he was gone. Alexa did as he said, and Ian's nose fell off, after she received the information.

Legend has it that his ghost still haunts the house he lived in. He roams around the house searching for his nose. He will lay siege on anyone who has it. The ghost became known as Ol' Noseless. So, if you move into the same house don't be surprised if you see a noseless ghost. As for Alexa, who knows?
