The Creation Myth of Dimples and Bubble Tea

Taipei, Taiwan

Once upon a time there was a man named Relatively Attractive (RA) who wanted to marry his fiancee. His fiancee replied to his proposal by saying “ Only if you complete two task that I assign you at the same time will I say yes to your offer. The first task will be to make yourself the most attractive man on the world, not only relatively attractive but the most attractive. Secondly, you will need to create a new kind of drink that I can both drink and chew at the same time. You must complete both tasks by using only one solution. Remember, I will only marry you when I can actually see your greatest love to me.”

So Relatively Attractive went back and came up with a greatest solution. He shall seek help from the Great Spirit! Then he started his prayer and the Great Spirit appeared. Right before RA started to speak, two small pieces of flesh on his face fell down into a cup and became a sphere shape thing. He was confused and the Great Spirit started to explain, he says “Here you go, from now on you are the most unique and attractive man on the world because you own something so special that no other man on the world owns; you got dimples! Also, take this cup that contains your flesh and put milk tea in it to form a new kind of drink, the Bubble Tea.”

So Relatively attractive completed the task by obeying what the Great Spirit told him to do and his fiancee finally said yes to his propasal. This is how dimple and Bubble Tea were created.
