Ancient Greeks

A myth submitted to the site by Bethany

Greevce

In Ancient Greece there was a lady called Gaia and her husband called Uranus and their children called the Titans.

One of the children called Cronus chased his dad Uranus with a sickle because his mam told him to. Later on Cronus married a lady called Rhea. Rhea had children while they were together as well but Cronus didn't want his children to do what he did to his dad to him. So he decided to eat his children

Rhea was very devastated. Rhea wanted to just keep one but Cronus denied it so Rhea played a trick on Cronus and gave him a giant stone wrapped up in a blanket and pretended that was baby Zeus and Rhea hid baby Zeus in a cave.

Then they sent a band to play some loud music so Cronus wouldn't know that Zeus was in the cave but she also sent a magical goat to look after Zeus.
