Many years ago in St. Clements in the channel islands a strange thing started to happen. The many people that lived near the sea started hearing some strange noises, these noises would happen all the time.

The sound was as if a bull was snorting and breathing heavily. The people thought that the noise was literally coming from a bull and this worried many. 'The sea bull' was mentioned in nearly every conversations.

The bull would snort and breath all the time but would remain hidden around the coast of St. Clements. In actual fact, there was never a bull! It was only the sounds of the water gurgling and crashing against the rocks! But the sea bull was never forgotten and was always remembered.
