Long ago in a country on the east cost of England lived a beautiful fair lady named Kristina. She lived with her true love Troy and everything was fine in the world.

One day Kristina grew very quiet and very shy. Every night she would sneak out after sunset and come back the next morning. Her husband Troy could never think why. Every time he asked her what was the matter, the fair lady just laughed and walked elegantly out of the room. This made her husband grow more suspicious. The same happened again and again for 7 weeks.

Through that period of time she grew more stressed and more angry with Troy and her love grew weaker and weaker for the fine lad Troy.

The same happened again, but this time Troy followed her. He followed her into a deep dark forest. It was like she was going to meet someone. His heart sank as she arrived at an old cottage.

A fine man answered the door. He welcomed her in and Troy never saw Kristina again. She didn't come out of the cottage. It was like she knew he was there. He stayed behind a tree for several weeks and finally he lost his life behind a tree after crying him self to death.

People say if you walk past that tree today you can still hear his crying. Remember, if you ever hear crying, you are in the spot were Troy died.
