The Man and its soul

A myth submitted to the site by Galin

Aytos, Bulgaria

In donkey's years, when God created Adam and soon afterwards Eva, he realiazed that something was not the way it should have been. Apart from their non-verbal communication and interactions, God knew something was missing in either of them.

"What is it?", he found asking himself one the same question for a long period of time. He thought over and over again when, all of a sudden, God came up with the idea of giving "life" to these bodies. A life they hand't been aware of until then - one with Feelings and Emotions.
Thus, God decided to call an angel who could be of great help of him. He knew this task was not an ordinary one and he needed powers that even he didn't posses. The angel in charge of this task was Marina - the one with the long curved wings and deathly pale skin. Just like any angel, her beauty was blinding.

First of all, God had to take both - Adam and Eva, to one and the same place. It was an extraordinary one with an extremely powerful aura. Nowadays, we call this place the Niagara falls.

After taking either of them to the sacred place, he began his ritual of putting a "soul" into the simple bodies that did not feel any pain or emotion. God was assisted by Marina who gave him the spiritual power of the angels and nature which he created himself.

On the following day, the mortals were baffled because of the stream of feelings inside their bodies which were either good, bad or neutral. However, sooner or later they took control over their emotions and passed on this acquisiton to the mankind today.

But before they moved on and left the magical place where the ritual was carried off, Eva suffered a lot. She found herself in love with Adam and this feeling was overwhelming. She was confused and sad and cried a lot. But her tears also gave life to the special place and turned the dry ground there into a lush place with the largest waterfall on Earth for those days.
