There is a legend about the ghost of a boy named Thomas, haunting the lake of his small hometown called Bonehill. It all started in 1970's on Halloween when a group of teenagers were having midnight party on the lake. All the kids at school made jokes of Thomas and bullied him everyday. He did not have any friends, but anyway, he went on that party hoping to find some. As expected, he did not fit there and was mocked again. Moreover this night turned all into a tragic accident in which Thomas found his death. There were some rumours about that he was drowned by the bullies. However there weren't enough proofs and the case was closed.

On the next Halloween, the same kids throw another party, which again eventually ended tragically. One boy of them "drowned himself" according to the police, but the others from the clique claimed to see the death boy Thomas to murder their friend. Of course because of the smoking and drinking no one believed them.

Since then, some locals have claimed to see the ghost of Thomas near the lake and now nobody sets foot there.
