One Halloween night I was out with my friends Beth and Sophie. We had been trick or treating to most of the houses already but we never went down Broom Hill. No one went down there cause no one really lived down there, it was just a broken old estate but Beth insisted we went.

“If no one lives there then what can happen” she said.
I had to agree with her so we walked up the first horrible garden and knocked three times on the door no one came so Beth thought it was a good idea to go in with Sophie so I waited out side not daring to go in.

Then I heard a terrible scream and everything went quiet. I edged closer toward the door when out of it jumped a terribly huge beast it leapt at me showing all its terrible jaws then it stopped sniffed the air and ran.

I wondered why it hadn’t eaten me when I saw two police officers running toward me when they reached me they asked me what had happened but I could only say. “Beth it ate Beth and Sophie.”

When I got back to the village I told my parent but no one seemed to know who Sophie and Beth were.It was as if they had been vanished from people minds.
