The Haunted house

A myth submitted to the site by Bexstar

Rye, England

Once upon a time there was a cold, dark, empty house. No one had been there since the legend of what lived bellow. There was known to have skeleton remains of a dinosaur bellow. A long time ago there lived an old man named Harold Jenkinson. He is known to this day to have been the last known man on earth to ever live in the dreadful house.

The legend started off when the house was being dug up to search for dinosaur bones. Believe it or not there was a dinosaur underneath the house. Once archaeologist had dug up all of the dinosaur bones a new house was built on the very same place as it was before. The old man went back into his house, what he didn’t know was that the archaeologist had not dug the entire dinosaur up.

After that terrible things started happening. Like in the middle of the night the whole house started to move. At night there would be terrible groaning noises, the old man would be punched and kicked in his sleep. One time he even got bitten. The old and tired man went to the police department and complained. The police came and had a look the next day but could not see anything so they told the restless man that if any more strange happenings happened then he should come and see them.

Sure anoth the next day there were more strange noises so as the police man had said they came back and had another through look and once again they did not find anything. The man, now very frustrated, went to see the local science centre. The people at the science centre said that the only thing that they could do is come and dig up the house and see if there was anything.

When they came and dug up the house they found the hand that had been left and decided to give it back to the rest of the dinosaur. Not long after that the old man died. Still know one lives in that house as the legend has it that the dinosaurs spirit is still under that house waiting for its next victim...
