Once upon a time lived two children, orphans, whose parents died after the war.
They both loved each other; they told themselves everything and where best friends.
The girl was seven years old and was called Thuy and the boy was twelve ears old and called Minh. One day, they went on a trip together and as Thuy went to the market, Minh saw a seer that told him that he was going to marry his sister and have a child with her.
Altough he loved her very much, he was disgusted of marrying her, so as she came back, he told her to look at the mountain, and when she turned around, he cutted her neck with a knife and ran away.
Many years later, he found a beautiful wife and had a little girl, Thuyen. In the sleep of his wife, he watched her closely and noticed a cut in her neck; when she woke up, he asked how she had it.
She said: 'I once had a dear brother that I loved a lot; but when I was seven, he cut my neck and I never saw him again...'
Minh felt bad and said he was going to the market and she had to wait for him in the mountain. She waited for years, but he never returned.
