A myth submitted to the site by Jess

Hockwold, England

I always thought wolves were beautiful.
I love them.
I just couldn’t understand what people wanted to kill these beautiful animals of nature!

One hot after noon my mum said "hey can you get some milk from the corner shop for me please"
"Ok mum" I was glad I wanted to pass our local park on the way and see all the animals running free.

I got the milk and walked to the park.
But for some reason there was no animal’s there.
Then I saw something flash amongst the trees.
I gasped and ran into the park.

When I reached the trees I saw it again and followed the thing but it was hard to keep up as it moved so quickly.
It led me to a den and but I was hidden I’m the trees.
It was a wolf.
Then I lost my balance and fell trough the trees.
The wolf's golden yellow eyes swept over me.
It was a rare gold and white species.
The wolf stood up and came over to me.
It was so skinny I could have cried.
Then it collapsed on a heap on the ground.

They say that same wolf still roams those parts.
Searching for revenge on man kind.
For starving it to death.
But there was one person it was not seeking revenge for.
And that person it me.
I am a wolf tamer.
But no one could tame me.
