A long long long time ago when the world was very very very young, there was not a lot of leopards and the leopards had no spots.

One day there was a leopard and he was playing with his mum and dad. His mum and dad were very nice. Suddenly his mum and dad ran away and the hunters shot the leopard. The leopard was nearly dead.

The hunters took the dying leopard back to their town. The police saw them, the hunters dropped the leopard and ran away. Then the police took the leopard to the vet. The vet was very forgetful. The vet gave the wrong medicine to the leopard. The leopard woke up with spots all over him. That is how the leopard got spots.
