The Gut Wrenching Forest Story

A myth submitted to the site by Jessica Knowles

England, England

I was staying with my grandmother in a old house in the forest. One night I wanted to go out.

“Where are you going?”

“To the forest.”

“ But its getting dark! And a storm is coming. All the spiders come out when there is a storm. Don’t go near them and don’t touch them.”

I went out and saw lots of spiders. I wasn’t scared I went and touched them. Then I remembered what my grandmother said.

Too late! My teeth turned red and my skin was covered in cockroaches! I couldn’t escape. I screamed and ran into the forest. In the middle of the forest I saw a skeleton. Now I live with the skeleton and when its dark and stormy I go out into the forest I scare people. Maybe I will come out and scare you.
