The Great Adventure

A myth submitted to the site by Alex Bowen-Jones

In a beautiful land long ago there lived a evil goddess named Poseidon. She was the goddess of water she was so evil the people that betrayed her were turned into sea weed.

There was a boy called Tom who feared Poseidon above all else. He had long wavy hair that was silky bronze. Tom’s house was only a small cave that didn’t have much room, his pillow was a dead badger and the blanket was a black widow spider web all rolled up. His girl friend Jade had jet black hair, she was 6ft. Her legs were as hairy as the gruffalo, but to Tom that was pretty.

One day, Tom heard a scream outside the cave...it was Jade with her eyes locked onto Poseidon’s.

As Tom shouted “stop” Jade ran away as quickly as she could... but it was to late. She turned into sea weed, so Tom closed his eyes and took the deepest breath he could. Gingerly he went up to Poseidon and demanded to let her go back to her aboriginal self. Poseidon answered “no!”
“she didn’t do anything to you!” screamed tom.
“ok then.” Replied Poseidon “not!” he laughed.

Tom’s anger was building up towards Poseidon. Whenever tom got angry the thing that he was angry about got destroyed and as his flaming hands burned Poseidon out of the world for all eternity Jade got her freedom. And they gracefully lived a happy life.
