Once I went to Spain with my mum and we went to the beach. As I watched the glimmering waves pass by I saw a shiny torquise glimmer. I was in my swimming costume so I could go in the sea. I suddenly fell over I felt like I had been tripped up by something strong.I am a great swimmer so i went under and saw a tail with long hair flowing over it it turned round and looked at me in shock. It was a beautiful mermaid, it waved at me and it had long red hair. It took my hand and dragged me to shore as it popped it head out, it said to me "hi im Maisie the daugter of the king of the sea. I need someones help if you help a mermaid you get a wish what would you wish for?" I was so in shock i didnt answer but finally i said "I would wish to be a mermaid too"

"Then if you help me I can grant that wish for you" she said in delight, so i helped her, she asked me to help find her way home. She give me a tail anyway to swim there as soon as we got there she hugged me and screamed "Thank you now I will grant your wish for you" Her hand streched out as lightning came flashing out.

As soon as I knew it I had a tail but it went away when I was fully dry but now, whenever I get wet, I grow a tail. I have not told anyone except my two best friends Emily Fraser and Natalie Slamon.
