The Depression Goddess

A myth submitted to the site by Chase

Miami, Florida, United States

Once there was a young girl named Emily. She had a wonderful family, she had a mom, dad, and a little brother. She was closest to her father. They never left each other out of the picture. The mother loved that about her husband and daughter.

Later in their lives the four of them went to an amusement park. Then it was time for closing so they all left. On the way home there father ran into a light pole and he flew out of the windsheild and died. This devastated the daughter and she cried the whole week, refused to eat, or sleep.

She then was noticed by one of the gods known as Poisedon. He talked to her and made a deal. If she became the goddess of depression she could see her father five times a week. She said yes to the deal and became a goddess. She now sees her repetitively and lived happily ever after.
