The Day of Death

A myth submitted to the site by Kat

City, England

Once upon a time all the men and women began doing wrong. Zeus saw this and decided to let death reign. Soon, one after another the people withered.

Perseus who was a brave and mighty warrior begged Zeus to stop. However, Zeus did not stop. Perseus had to do something quick. So he begged his father Posiedon to give him some powers. So Posiedon did and Perseus commanded death to leave. When he refused, he injured him with some of his powers.

As the people were scared Perseus created night with moon and stars to light the way. That is how night became and how people don't much go out at night.
