The Dragon of Templenewsam Woods

A myth submitted to the site by Isabella

Temple Newsam, England

One sunny day Isabella, Abigail, Maia and Paris were playing at templenewsam park when the trees started to rustle about when it wasn’t even windy! Then all the kids ran to their parent’s, then everyone drove of.

A couple of weeks later a rumour started and everyone was saying to each other “Have you heard about that creature in templenewsam woods” and they all replied “Of course I have I wonder what creature it could be?”.

The next day Isabella, Abigail, Maia and Paris decided to go and find out what this creature could be. When they got into the middle of the woods they saw a giant nest and laying in it was a big red dragon! Then Abigail said “Paris you dig a big hole in the floor, Maia you disguise the hole, I will phone the army when Isabella they get here you lure the dragon into the hole”.

So when the army got there Isabella lured the dragon into the hole then the army shot it and killed it. None ever saw that dragon again although someone called Tom did see a giant egg in the old nest of the dragon!
