Skeletons of the Night

A myth submitted to the site by LucyAndJosh

Horndean, Waterlooville, England

Well, this weird thing happened a couple of days ago. It's kind of strange, so we thought that we should publicise it to prove that we're not going mad or crazy. You may chose to believe this story or you may not, it's up to you, but this is the story of what happened to us and if any of you can relate to this, then please comment. Well, here it goes...

We were sleeping over at Josh's house about a week ago, when we saw a light shining under the curtains through the window. It was around midnight, and we had just finished our seventh race on Mario Kart (Josh won, whilst I, well, lets not get into that. Anyway...) and we were selecting the next course, when the screen started to go fuzzy, then it just turned off. We were surprised that it was not pitch-black; there was a light in the room. Suddenly, a pale, skeletal hand reached through and then an arm, then a body. We were frozen to the spot.

As the whole skeleton emerged from behind the curtain, and stretched out to us, we saw our torches on the floor, we both grabbed them without hesitation and beamed the white light at it. It screeched an unearthly screech then, before long, disintegrated in the moonlight. We both sat back down, speechless, for the rest of the night, unable to sleep. But even after that, there still remained a pile of dust on the floor where the skeleton died.

That's our story. What's yours?
