The Legend of Robin Hood

A myth submitted to the site by Harry Bishop

Sherwood Forest , England

A long time ago in a town nothing much happened . Richard the lion heart was out crusading, Robin Hood was out robbing…

Right Robin Hood the robber was watching a family settle down for bed. He spied out a gleaming cauldron full of :gold, silver, tin and bronze. Now he knew he had to be fast and sly. Suddenly he swooped down from the trees and stole all the rich peoples valuables and locked far underground . After that he started spying out horse and carts following them back to their houses. He told lies spreading them through one to another, about giving it to the poor. One day he will be caught, sitting here in this house and it did happen 1342. He bled to death after being stabbed.

There it lies waiting, the legend of this crook who we dare not to speak his name as we fear there will be another. If there is we will be ready…
