The Story Of Osiris

Once upon a time there were two brothers called Osiris and Seth, they had two sisters called Isis and Nephthys. Osiris was married to Isis and Seth was married to Nephthys. Osiris and Seth weren't very fond of each other. Seth was jealous of Osiris because he thought he was more important than him!

One day Seth threw a party , he said whoever fir in this chest could keep it. No one knew that Seth had made the chest just Osiris's size! Everyone tries the chest but no one fitted in it properly.Osiris tried and it fitted perfectly,as soon as he clambered in Seth slammed the lid down and nailed it shut!

He threw the chest into the river Nile hoping he would never see it again!

One sunny morning Seth was on a nice peaceful walk along the river Nile when he saw the familiar chest , he cut the body of Osiris into 14 pieces and scattered them all around Egypt.
Isis (his sister/wife) was heartbroken and started looking for the body pieces immediately.

She found all but one piece, she put them together and mummified him in hope he would make it to the afterlife!

The End!
