The Boy and the River

A myth submitted to the site by Katrina Taylor

Spain, Spain

One day on the cost of Spain lived a boy called Pedro and his family. They where a lovely family but one day a Pedro decided to go exploring and he found a river but this river was no normal river, the water was gold.

He decided not to tell his family because he thought that he could sell the water and he would be rich but when he tried to grab the water a pixie came and said, ''if you touch the water again you will suffer a slow and painful death'' but being a 12 year old boy it went through one ear and out the other.

So he went home and went to bed. 2 weeks later he went back and shouted ''I am not scared of you pixie I am touching your stupid water''
''Very well then''the pixie whispered but Pedro did not hear it.

The next night Pedro's mum and dad found Pedro's bones on his bed, he had bin eaten from the inside-out but his mum found a note on her sons pillow saying ''I did tell him''
