The Ghost of Ohakune

A myth submitted to the site by Tayla

Ohakune, Ohakune

Legend has it that once you drive threw a little town called Ohakune you will never exit out. 10 years before this mystery happened someone passed away it was a tourist or at least someone who was visiting Ohakune to go up the fantastic mount Ruapehu but as he drove threw he went through a wall of nothing. Something extraordinary happened that day and it may sound like a myth but this story was true.

Anyway this man or lady no one ever saw the body but they did see the left over car munted like someone had come along picked it up and squashed it like a soda can. But as this mystery went on more crazy things happened. Someone appeared out of the blue, she started picking up ski poles from the mountain then selling them like a needy person like she needed to get somewhere quick she sold anything she found. But the next day we never saw her again and she never returned again. And after that a man in his onezie came into Ohakune riding a bike. He must have been going to a party a bit drunk but once he went passed the give way sign I never saw him again.

Ever since these things have been happening Ohakune hasn't been the same we are not sure if it is haunted or just crazy people trying to make a living but other than that I would never enter there.
