The Witch

A myth submitted to the site by Aiden

Salem, Massachusetts, USA

There once was a mean witch in 1613. She was horrible. Everyone thought she was just another old lady. She would lure all the plump kids with cookies, than she would bake them in to a pie.

One day a young boy went into her house and the witch tried to catch him, ah but he ran out. The witch went outside and yelled some words and waved her wand poof! The young boy was a frog.

But alas, the whole town was watching. So they hanged her and then her ghost appeared and cursed the town. The next year the town had a big fire and everyone blamed the witches curse.
