The Mermaid and the Sea Hunter

A myth submitted to the site by Mol

Zara, Ocean

Long ago, in the ocean sea land of Zara lived a beautiful, young mermaid called Selly who lived with her Merman father, Hoffman and his beautiful wife, Miami. What Miami had forgotten is that a long time before, she had promised an evil sea hunter called Grim, her first child. Sadly, that first child was Selly....

One day, on the unlucky day of Friday the 13th, there was a big storm, and there was Grim! "Give me your child or your life!" he screamed. You see, he'd always loved Miami and wanted to capture her so she and him could be a couple. "I am the God of storms. Obey me or you are Dead!" he continued.
"SHE IS MINE!" echoed Miami.
"Don't worry mother, I'll be okay." Selly said. Miami started to cry, "boo cry" RRRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUMMBBLLE! "She is mine now!" cried Grim.

Selly was captured. "I want to be with my mother, I'll give you anything!"
"Anything, even your land?" Grim cried slowly. Selly ACTUALLY wanted to give him her land than be dead.

Then she got deserted on half of her land, but she didn't mind, she had family..
