The Legend of the Five Sisters

A myth submitted to the site by Care Bear

Aruba Mountains, USA

In a cave far away through forest across rivers through lakes and between mountains. In a cave lived five cave girls and their cave dad.
Their dad protected them with his life. He would do anything to save them.

When they went to get food they would have to pass the banyid. They would have to be very quiet so they would not disturb him.

One day they were passing his cave and the girls started to argue the banyid awoke with a thump so loud it split the ground in half . The banyid was attacking the five girls so the father grabbed his magic stick and turned them to stone. The banyid went to attack the father.
The father used his magic stick to turn him self in to a falcone and sored off.

The father went to change his daughters back to normal but realized he dropped his stick.
He went to the ground to find his stick but could not find it he is still looking for it today. His daughters sit there watching their father waiting to be changed back to normal cave girls.
