How Porcupine got his Spikes and Pointy Hairs

A myth submitted to the site by Joseph M

The Amazon Rainforest

Long ago in the rainforest porcupine lived in a little wooden house. He only wanted something to defend him from predators so he wouldn’t have to stay in his tiny little house hiding. Soon after that his friend snake asked him to look after his glue factory and so he did.

Porcupine would make sure the glue machines were working well, make sure the workers were up to there high standard and SPLAT! Porcupine fell into a puddle of glue with all the workers looking at him.

Porcupine being porcupine ran away in shame into the wild of the rainforest and came across a clift. Porcupine had built up to much speed that he fell of and because of the wind his hair got really pointy and then he landed into a thorn bush and all the thorns stuck to him because of the clue. So that’s how porcupine got spikes and pointy hair.
