A Death For A Life

A myth submitted to the site by Dillan Sandhu

Birmingham, England

She hadn't thought it was weird at first though. Seeing him every day to work. Julie waves politely at him, but him. He walks miserably. Head at the floor kicking stones while crossing the road. After the days the man grew pale. More whiter each time she saw him. Julie had thought he was ill. Before all this had all happened there was a newspaper article stating that a man died on that road from a car accident it had a picture of him. His twin? Is that why he is sad?

Julie started to have dreams of him for five days, a word for each dream. Will you please help me?
When she had summoned enough courage to talk to him she blurted out "Are you dead?"
Surely he'd think she's crazy however he said an even crazier answer.
"Yes." He explained to her that ghosts can only be seen by special people.
"I've always wondered what it'd be like a ghost,"
"Well now you will."
He started laughing and then he did a voodoo-like wave of his fingers and then the life was sucked out of her and into him. She was dead - he was alive. She heard him say "Now your a ghost, permanently!" From then on she became paler and sadder.
