The Mirror

A myth submitted to the site by Naomi Justice

Greece, Italy

One day Aphrodite looked down at man and saw that they where all setting on river beds/lake banks staring at their reflections and falling in love with it, instead of finding their true love. So she decided to make a way for them to see there reflections when ever they wanted to so they could fall in love with their soul mates.

She took some water and a rock and carved out a frame and put the water into it. She then froze it into place so it couldn't fall out and gave it to man. And man called it mirror and they left their places on the banks and went to find there soul mates instead of being vain and full of themselfs.
