The Dark Room

Glasgow Barrhead , Scotland

My name is Holly and I'm here to tell you about my experience of the dark room most people think this is a myth but I know its not. I was just 12 when this happened it was traumatising we just moved to a brand new house I had a new home and a new school so it was hard for me to forget my friends and make new ones. But my life was just getting harder.

I woke up at my usual time at 7:00 for school got up brushed my teeth had a shower, got changed, had breakfast ,packed my bag and headed to school. After a stressful day at school I came home to a quiet house my mum and dad weren't there. I thought they must of meant to the shops or something. so I went up to my room at just chilled and watched a movie.

I went down stairs for a drink and I heard a creaking sound coming from the cupboard door so as every curious 12 year old, I had a look but it was just an empty cupboard so I thought. Just as I began to walk away I felt a gentle tug on my arm as a white cloudy mist I was completely puzzled by the site. I wasn't scared but just and utterly mystified by the look it looked like my mother I am still mystified as I am writing
this, I think it wanted me to follow it so I did.
