How the Elephant got Wrinkly

A myth submitted to the site by Lucy Smith

In the savannah it was brown, dark green and light green. In Africa there was a really fat, huge elephant. He was looking for juicy green leaves. Until he saw some on a beautiful tree shimmering many miles away in the sun.

So he ran for miles and miles past the clear lake, past the hippos. By the time he got there he realised he had lost loads of weight. He used to be over 2 meters wide and now he is around 1 meter wide. Then he realised he was really wrinkly as well.

All the other elephants thought he looked really cool and different so they tried it as well and it was true, it did look cool and different.

That's how the elephant got wrinkly.
