A Were-wolf?

A myth submitted to the site by Kimberley Hillis

Larne, Co Antrim, Northern Ireland

When my best friend,Hannah, and i were having a sleepover, we had a game of truth or dare and when it came to me, i picked dare. The man who lived beside her was quite a big, scary man who hated kids so her dare for me was to go up to the door of his home, knock it then run like the dickins, so i did.

It was strange when i reached the door because it was open and his wife was shaking as if she had seen a ghost. She told us that her husbasnd had become larger than ever so we decided to find out what was going on.

The forest at the back of Hannah's home was really dark, but the light of the full moon would be enough light. As we entered the forest, we could here howles and see a great big figure in the shoadows, that was coming towards us at full speed. We were baffled but, then it ran into the moonlit spot and we saw a hairy figure which looked like a wolf and we then figured it out, he was a werewolf.

Hannah started to run but i turned and called after her, telling her not to run as the thing, as we called it, will chase us. When i turned around to face it again, it was gone. I called to Hannah again, this time telling her to be like a mouse and run like a spy would. We got out alive but we never saw next doors cat again.
