The Devils Tongue

United Kingdom

In the bare Hinterlands there lived a kind devil named Saitan. He was a good to as many people as he could, but many people were horrible to him. He lived in the Hinterlands because his wife and family hated him and they drove him out there on their dragon. "I hate you. You betrayed all of us and now you're agreeing that you should be out here!" Saitan's wife snapped. But that was a total lie. Saitan had done nothing.
One day there was a knock on his door.
"It's me!" it was Saitan's wife, "I forgive you." She was lying.
"Come in!" Saitan cried happily. Saitan's wife went in greedily.
"Now, I want you to close your eyes and open your mouth." So Saitan did watch she said. I think you should know that Saitan's tongue was sooooo long it was unique. It was so precious, he never showed it to any one.
"Aha!" Saitan's wife cried. She pulled out his tongue and twisted it in such a complicated knot Saitan could not speak. But Saitan had come prepared he had poisoned his tongue but didn't dare touch it. Saitan's wife fell to the ground, "Help me!" she choked.
"NO!" Saitan shouted, as his tongue unravelled.
Saitan ran away from his wife and back to his children.
"I'm HOME!" he screamed happily. They all lived happily.
Now there is a knot called devils tongue after Saitan, so when you use or see that knot just think of this myth.
