After the dragon had opened one sharp eye, he knew something was wrong and he had just had lunch (sheep). Left by him where the dry bones.

Grooooooowl” the dragon shouted. Piers and his men where trembling as they said “why have you taken are crops” the dragon did not answer of course he could not speak.

So piers declared a war with his sword in one hand, and a knife in the other blood was shown horrible fighting through the night it went on, bats flying over the men’s heads, tens of the men got burned at quite an angle ‘owwwwwwwwwwwwww’all of them shouted. I don’t know how to tell you this but they did die.

Soon there was only piers he stood thinking there what could happen to him and the people left at home who didn’t come to fight maybe he could die like the others. But he gained courage and didn’t give up and he won by two sharp digs, blood poured from the dragon.

Piers was happy but sad because the men that helped him had died. Now a few months later the crops had grown back. They all had a great feast just before winter would come they prayed for all the soldiers and danced around the fire singing that is how the story became a big legend.

But that isn’t the end, the end the devil jumped out after they had had there feast and cursed them but they did not believe in curse “hey devil we have a surprise for you” they took him to there room and said “here is a spar it is nice and hot they shoved him into an oven filled it up on full heat BANG he was gone “YEAH HE IS GONE”. And that is the proper legend .
